Launch Pad Winners Launch Website

For quality staffing in education

Our Launchpad competition winner Qsted Education have announced the unveiling of their new website.

After coming first in the hotly contested Launchpad competition, winning entry Qsted Education have announced the unveiling of their new website.

When you’re up against some of the most promising start-up ventures in the incredibly competitive world of recruitment, you have to make sure you stand out from the crowd. In Zero-One Design’s Launchpad competition this year Qsted Education managed to do just that and eventually emerged as worthy winners.

Qsted Education is a community based recruitment agency for teachers with offices in South London, offering jobs for supply teachers, teaching assistants, support staff, SEN staff and nursery nurses in nurseries, schools and colleges in London and the South East, across the UK and internationally. They only recruit the most qualified ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ teachers, whether as permanent, part-time, short term or supply staff. They want educational institutions to know that if they call on Qsted they are only getting the best.

Even though they are just getting off the ground they are already off to a great start after forming a relationship with one of the biggest academy chains in the country. The problem with some of the leading education recruiters is the high fees they charge for this service: sometimes as high as 40%! Qsted see this as unreasonable so they aim to offer quality teaching staff at more manageable rates, which means the major benefactor will be the students.

The Launchpad competition was the pet project of Zero One Design: one of the recruitment industry’s most recognisable names, calling upon over 15 years of experience to create, innovate, develop and produce top of the line, fully updateable bespoke recruitment websites. They partnered up with some heavy hitters in the field of recruitment: Orchard Joint Ventures, a recruitment joint venture capital group; Chequed.com, specialising in offering recruitment and job reference solutions; Recruitive build and supply state of the art recruitment software; Recruitment International is the magazine for the UK recruitment industry. Between them they came up with an array of lucrative prizes worth over £15,000!

Launchpad is a competition to find the most standout recruitment agency start-up. The standard of the entrants was high as they came forward with detailed business plans highlighting their intended paths to success. Yet it was a quirky video submitted by Qsted that turned the judges’ heads and gave them their well deserved victory.

From all of us at Zero-One Design we would like to wish  Qsted the very best for the future and we will be watching the progress of them and the runners up  Intech7 and Adepto Technical.
