The pre-Christmas launch of Skystan Nursing’s new website meant that this ambitious healthcare recruitment consultancy marched straight into the front line to plug the gaps at the busiest time of the year. It is in this forward position that they aim to remain and continue to tackle the ongoing, and ever-growing, problem of nursing shortages that is blighting Britain’s crowning achievement – the NHS.

According to a survey as part of a Health Education England steering group, “83% of organisations are currently having a shortage of nurses”. That is a staggering figure and one that should have policy makers concerned.
