New Airbase and Clinical Training
We've created a website for http://www.netsuk.org/ , Nets is the emergency service for sick or injured babies, infants and children.
Here's an excerpt from their launch press release:
'Clinicians have long recognised the need for a major specialist aero-medical inter-hospital transfer service in the country and NETS is strivng to put that in place' said Martin Eede of NETS UK. 'Our service will be available to every part of the NHS who wishes to use and it is vital we are advised by clinicians on the best way to develop this service' The official opening of the airbase by Dr Andrew Berry of NETS UK, is in recognition of the inspiration he has been to many UK clinicians who have worked with him in Australia.
NETS UK is a new charity but in staging this major national conference is now seeking public support to enable it to move forward and further develop its education role as well as the aero-medical transport service. Initial support has come from HSBC’s ‘Little Angels’ Appeal.
