Bistrolive.com Booking System
One of our more testing projects has now been launched, I'm pleased to say, and is proving to be a great success.
Bistro L!ve is a Live Music Restaurant business, with venues in Milton Keynes, Leicester and Nottingham and they have been a client of ours since 2005 and have had numerous updates and re-designs of their website.
They intend to market their business and conduct as much business as possible online. This includes newsletter systems, search engine marketing and news and updates.
The next stage of their long term plans was to enable their website to take a number of online transactions, such as party bookings, deposit payments, drinks orders and more. The main issue here was the fact that all of their client information and accounts system was on an internal server at their main venue. The most important aspect of this project, therefore, was the secure communication between the website and their internal server.
After many days of programming and testing, and testing and more programming, we are happy to say that the booking system is live, being used and Bistro L!ve are taking payments and bookings.
It was a struggle sometimes, but we did it and it works!
